As President could Obama really make Whites apologize to Blacks? He sure could, and will that is a fact. It takes a little thinking but I will try to help you. The state of Georgia apologized to Ray Charles for his treatment. America apologized to Japan for Hiroshima and holding Japan concentration camps during the World War. This apology of course came with money as well. I have no idea how much they will pay the Blacks but we will know soon enough.

I’m planning a trip to Georgia….? OK, I’m not going to make the same mistake again. A few months ago, I had the song “Moonlight in Vermont” stuck in my head and after attempting to remove it from my brain for a few months, I just succumbed to my urges, flew down to Vermont and was very disappointed by the lack of inspiration the actual moonlight instilled in me. I stayed for several weeks and never did feel anything beyond lethargy. Lesson learned. So---Now, I have this other song “Georgia on my mind” well----on my mind, after watching the movie “Ray” combined with listening to more Willie Nelson. I was wondering, where exactly is the locale in Georgia that inspired Ray Charles. I figured I would fly down, go to that location, and maybe, just maybe this song would stop playing in my head. Anybody know where Ray was when this song was penned?

Who sings these songs??? Who raps that song that is the remix of the song "Georgia" by ray charles. They took that part where Charles sings "Georgia" over and over again and made into a rap about Georgia. If you know what I mean. The other song I heard a million years ago. I only remember the beat, and that there was a guy rapping and a woman going like " Ey Ey Eyyyy" . I would hum the beat, if I could and was right there with you, but I can't and I am not even sure that you can come up with something with that, but if you want to hear the beat, email me at silverphoenix94@rocketmail.com and I know that it is stupid, but I may give you my cell so you can call me and I can hum it to you. But that is stupid, but that is how desperate I am to find out what this song is.

On the Road Again (possibly offensive to sensitive liberals)? I bought a new high-end car and returned to the dealer the next day complaining that I couldn't figure out how the radio worked. The salesman explained that the radio was voice activated. "Watch this!" he said, "Nelson!" The Radio replied, "Ricky or Willie?" "Willie!" he said, and "On The Road Again" came from the speakers. Then he said, "Ray Charles!", and in an instant "Georgia On My Mind" replaced Willie Nelson. I drove away happy, and for the next few days, every time I'd say, "Beethoven," I'd get beautiful classical music, and if I said, "Beatles" or "Stones" I'd get one of their classic songs. Yesterday, a couple ran a red light and nearly creamed my new car, but I swerved in time to avoid them. "A-s-s-holes!" I yelled. Immediately the French National Anthem began to play, sung by Jane Fonda and Barbara Streisand, backed up by Michael Moore and The Dixie Chicks, with John Kerry on guitar, Al Gore on drums, Dan Rather on harmonica, Nancy Pelosi on tambourine, Harry Reid on spoons, Bill Clinton on sax and Ted Kennedy on scotch. Damn, I LOVE my new car! The nice thing about living in the USA is, we can tell jokes like this and not get shot.

So I'm throwing this party, which will have a live band but they can't play for that long so I thought I'd throw together a playlist for the rest of the time, there will be a very diverse crowd (hence the rap), but mostly it's alternative and classic rock, I would appreciate it if anybody would make suggestions for additions or subtractions. i have means to acquire pretty much any song so go ahead. What are some songs that should never be remade? There are some songs that should only be sung by the people who made it famous and that is it. I have a couple songs who belong in that category. My questions are do you agree with my list and what songs would you add? Here is my list: (Some of these songs are by bands but I'm just using the lead vocalist) 1. Redemption Song/No Woman, No Cry* - Bob Marley 2. White Rabbit - Grace Slick (Jefferson Airplane) 3. Stairway to Heaven - Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin) 4. Space Oddity - David Bowie 5. Hemorrhage - Brett Scallions (Fuel) 6. Welcome to the Jungle - Axl Rose (Guns N Roses) 7. Imagine - John Lennon 8. Bohemian Rhapsody - Freddie Mercury (Queen) 9. Georgia on my Mind - Ray Charles 10. Metal Health - Quiet Riot *- both songs shouldn't be remade but I didn't want to put an artist on here twice. paramore and avril lavigne aren't good enough to make this list. sorry pal

Whose tried voice-activated radio???? Rush Limbaugh bought a new Lexus 450 and had the dealer program the voice activated radio. “Nelson,” the Technician said to the radio. The Radio replied, “Ricky or Willie?” “Willie!” he continued and “On The Road Again” came from the speakers. Then he said, “Ray Charles!”, and in an instant “Georgia On My Mind” replaced Willie Nelson. Rush drove away happy, and for the next few days, if he’d say, “Beethoven,” he’d get beautiful classical music, and if he said, “Beatles,” he’d get one of their awesome songs. Yesterday, a couple ran a red light and nearly creamed his new car, he swerved in time to avoid them, and yelled, “A$$ Holes!” Immediately NPR started playing the French National Anthem, sung by the Dixie Chicks with narration by Ted Kennedy ……. (I luv NPR) feel free to substitute Al Franken, Fox radio, Toby Keith and Newt Gingrich

What song reminds you of home? Being in the Army and away from home so much I get homesick a good bit. Once in S.Korea I was inspecting a car (I'm an MP) and the song "Georgia on My Mind" by Ray Charles came on. Instantly I felt like I had a piece of home with me and now that is the song that I listen to when I am missing home. It just makes me feel better. What song does that for you if any?
I Bought A New Car And The Radio Doesn't Work? I bought a new Lexus SC430 and returned to the dealer the next day because I couldn't get the radio to work. The salesman explained that the radio was voice activated. "Nelson," the salesman said to the radio. The Radio replied, "Ricky or Willie?" "Willie!" he continued and "On The Road Again" came from the speakers. Then he said, "Ray Charles!", and in an instant "Georgia On My Mind" replaced Willie Nelson. "Willie." he continued and "On the Road Again" came from the speakers. Then he said, "Ray Charles!", and in an instant "Georgia on My Mind" replaced Willie Nelson. I drove away happy, and for the next few days, every time I'd say, Soggy Bottom Boys," I'd get beautiful bluegrass music, and if I said, "Beatles" I'd get one of their awesome songs. Yesterday, a couple ran a red light and nearly creamed my new car, but I swerved in time to avoid them. I yelled, "A@@ Holes!" listen to this funny story? MY NEW TRUCK I bought a new GMC Sierra and returned to the dealer yesterday because I couldn't get the radio to work. The salesman explained that the radio was voice activated. 'Nelson,' the salesman said to the radio. The radio replied, 'Ricky or Willie?' 'Willie!' he continued and 'On The Road Again' came from the speakers. Then he said, 'Ray Charles!' and in an instant, ' Georgia On My Mind' replaced Willie Nelson. I drove away happy, and for the next few days, every time I'd say, 'Beethoven,' I'd get beautiful classical music and if I said, 'Beatles,' I'd get one of their awesome songs. Yesterday, some guy ran a red light and nearly creamed my new truck, but I swerved in time to avoid him. I yelled, 'Asshole!' Immediately the radio responded with, "Ladies and gentlemen, the President of the United States" Damn I love this truck.......

Music suggestions for me? I am a big fan of music. I also like a fairly wide variety. Though, I'm not really into the newer mainstream stuff. I despise rap (no offense meant) and the rock which is labeled "emo" (again, no offense meant). Here is a list of the musicians on my iTunes library. However, this list doesn't even compare to the bands/artists in my CD collection. But, if there is a band or artist that you think I may not have and think I would like, please say so! Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks! Any (obscure) music suggestions? I'm up for suggestions! I made a list of the music that is on my computer so you can get an idea of what I listen to. As you can tell, my music taste varies. However, I despise most of the popular bands (okay, ALL) bands of today. Also, keep in mind that I have many more artists on CD that isn't on my computer so they are not listed....so, try to be as obscure as possible. I'm looking for some obscure band recommendations...got any? I have thousands of CDs/vinyls, but so you can get an idea of my taste in music (and so I don't get a long list of bands I already have), here are some of the artists that I have on my computer. Like I said, I have a lot of music so please try to be as obscure as possible with your suggestions. Thank you! ? Will you critique this poem please? If I'm Like..... By Koye Lott If I'm like Stevie.... do I make you Wonder? The possibilities.... that fall under the sun, the stars, the moon, set so high.... Yet would Stevie come sing you a lullaby? If I'm like Ray.... would you call me Sir Charles? Take the kinks out the rug lest I stumble lest I fall.... Would sympathy move you to give alms to the blind? Could I take you.... to the Georgia on my mind?

Rank your top.....? RBs this year. lets get a top 10. 1. Darren McFadden (Arkansas) 2. Chris Wells (Ohio State) 3. Justin Forsett (Cal) 4. Knowshon Moreno (Georgia) 5. Rashard Mendenhall (Illinois) 6. Jamaal Charles (Texas) 7. Mike Hart (Michigan) 8. Jonathan Stewart (Oregon) 9. Ray Rice (Rutgers) 10. Kevin Smith (Central Florida) Almost there: Steve Slaton, Felix Jones yeah chris johnson is definitely good. i wouldn't say top 10 caliber though. i would put an ohio state buckeye in the top 10. have you seen wells play? he was the best and only offensive threat against LSU in the title game. and he tore it up for over 200 yds against michigan, who turned out to be a great team app state loss and all. wells was just amazing all around this season. JDerleth, I have to disagree with you that Mendenhall was the reason Illinois beat OSU. It was Juice Williams, he scrambled for 1st downs on 3rd at least 3 times late in the 4th quarter to erase any legitimate shot OSU had at coming back in the game.
Creationists? Scietists have said we have never written a peer reviewed paper, or been in a sciene journal... That's because the world won't let us. *Question* Does this make you feel all warm and cozy inside? Om, I know what you are saying but that was not the point, the point was that we are not all dumb as you think we are. This is not the complete list.
Who Likes Motown Music? Like Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder. Marvin Gaye=Lets Get It On, Ain't No Mountain High Enough. The Temptations=My Girl, Ain't Too Proud To Beg and Get Ready. Ray Charles=Georgia On My Mind. Stevie Wonder= Higher Ground and Superstition.
