Does the majority of the straight community? Truly understand the gay rights struggle, or do they come up with their own theories? My reason for asking this is I have sattelite radio and I listen to the Foxxhole (which is Jamie Foxx's comedy station) but he has a live radio program every Friday which was being replayed this morning. To my chagrine, Jamie Foxx announced that he did not vote NO for Proposition 8 mainly because he feels like marriage constitutes wanting to reproduce and have children (uhhh?? how many married couples have NO childern, and want NO children)...but then a caller calls in, and says that all we want is to be able to take care of our loved ones in the hospital, which we should be allowed to do, and he agreed. Well, last time I checked, that is NOT all we want. We want equal rights as taxpaying citizens... So why do straight people STILL not get it??

Strange events; need help.? So it's strange. Basically I think I have some strange form of De-ja-vu. It happens all the time. One example is that I was going to the cinema with some friends. One of our friends is gay and we joked with him that he should dress up like Uncle Sam and have a poster saying "I want you". The film we saw was "The Soloist". In it Jamie Foxx dresses up in one scene as Uncle Sam.....The next day, in college, we were talking about World War 2 propaganda and what comes up....The Uncle Same poster. Another example is when I was going up to meet someone for work. I was listening to the RENT soundtrack. In one of the songs there is a line that goes "New York City; centre of the universe". So I go to meet this person and we talk about Dublin and she says "Dublin; centre of the universe". Another example is the latest one; I was watching a spanish film at 3 am in the morning. In the film it talks about a thought experiment called "Schrodinger's Cat". The next day, I was watching the Big Bang Theory....and Sheldon mentioned Schrondinger's Cat!!!! This happens to me ALL the time. What is going on? I need help. I cant control when it happens, but it happens too often for it to be coincidence! Help!!

Why did he walk out of my life? I talked with my ex and was with him last week. We took his cat to the Anti Cruelty Society and as we we're talking he was looking very sad. Throughout the whole morning and up until we departed from one another we argued about our breakup which occured last August. He kept telling me, " I wanna tell you what I'm doing but all you'll do is throw it in my face!". I noticed before we left his apartment his collection of VHS's were missing and a love seat of his was sitting next to the dumpsters in the alley. I noticed 2 days after we departed from one another that he kept asking, "Did you get your apartment yet?" Lastly, he revealed to me in so many ways that he is bisexual by using Jamie Foxx as a pawn (cause we all know that he is gay). I said, " I don't want a bisexual to be my boyfreind." As I was saying that I looked into his face. After we dropped the cat off we argued again until we reaced the train station. As I walked away from him he said, " You want me to call you in 2 months, Chiquita.". My response didn't matter but that look in his face stuck with me. He looked like I wouuld never see him again. I didn't fiqure out what the look meant until 5 days later. He usually would call within 3 days and he didn't. I'm hurt, bewildered and confused because I don't care if he's bi I still love him and I still want him in my life. I just wanted to hear the opinions of others. Did he walk out of my life because I rejected him? Did he leave because he wants to stop living a double life as a bisexual and just deal with one sex? Did he really care for me? What can I do about this? Can I do anything?
