Frank Sinatra & Fred Astaire- Similar features? Is it just me or do these 2 sort of look alike? I know who each men are, I know their works. However, I often seem to just mix the two up by their appearance & it really bothers me sometimes. I even google their pictures & placed them together & the resemblance is uncanny! Can I take somebody to court if the crime happened over a year ago? I have been harrased by somebody for the past 3 years now...At first we were friends, I even let a friend of theres move into my place as a roommate cause I felt bad for him and his one year old son! He was ALWAYS late on rent and all the utilities...some he never even paid! It came time that I could no longer have him live with me due to the fact that he was not paying and pretty much living there for free and I had just found out that I was prego and wanted to make room for my baby to be! He moved out...not paying last months rent or utilities and he gave his key to my upstairs neighbor (his friends) who had become my friend over there years but as we parted...we all parted! I come into my house one day and notice that My signed picture of Frank Sinatra had been stolen (the last gift I got from my father before he passed away) there are only two people who had the keys...me and them so I knew who to point the finger at! I asked them to please give me back my picture and they said they did not have it! I asked for the keys to MY apartment back and they would not give them to me! Late the wife upstairs harrased me and one day as I was leaving my apartment she pinned me agains the door and told me to not look at her the wrong way or she was going to hurt me and my baby!!!! She went on with this every time I saw her...3 weeks later I had a miscarrage due to stress!!! Eah time I would come into my house after being gone there would be something else missing! I had to change my locks on all my doors! Which didnt stop them! I worked out of my home and lost some clients cause the wife would wait outside my apartment for my clients to leave and pull them aside and tell them that I was a bad person and to not do work with me! I moves! but it has not stoped! I get emails from her and her husband! She posts fake sex ads in my name on craigslist giving them my phone number! I just dont know what to do anymore! Now with another baby on the way Im scared for my boyfriends, mine, and my unborn baby! Please help! I did call the police after she assulted me and threatened me infront of my apartment! The officer went upstairs and talked to her and then came back down and said "I couldnt have been called out here for this! This is something that you guys need to sort out!" I didnt know what to do after that? If I have a officer tell me to fix it between us and that cant be done...whats my next step? At this time I also told the officer about the craigslist stuff cause at that time she was giving out my address telling people to come rape me...I told them about that and what she had done and said to me about me and my baby...I also told them about the missing stuff! So he hatched this great plan to fake his own death and hide away, so that people would suddenly become obsessed with his music (It worked). He didn't tell anybody at all, even the people where he lived. He then reappeared, out of the blue, surprising the entire world, returning him to stardom. Now call me a crazy asshole, but would you put this past Michael Jackson? He was about to return on tour in about three weeks. How much publicity would he suddenly receive if he showed up on those concert dates from "beyond the grave"? That would revitalize his career even more than it already has been. Plus, has anybody actually seen any pictures of his dead body? The only pictures I've seen are about 4 paramedics next to an ambulance, and his most famous pictures from his heyday. It is an ethnically, economically, and ideologically diverse community that has many diiferent stores, restaurants and boutiques, yet maintains a very suburban feel. A very popular resturant in the Chicago land area. located in Andersonville is Reza's Resturant . A Middle Easteren, serves great, huge portioned food with a very beautiful and modern decor. Also, a very important landmark in Edgewater, is the Edgewater Beach Apartment Complex. Andersonville/ Edgewater is rich in their history and what in they to offer Chicago's social scene. CONCLUSION Andersonville/Edgewater are a must visit place in Chicago if you want to experience the social scene in Chicago. What do you think of this chapter, opinions pretty please? I wake the next morning with the sun beating through my bedroom window. Something I’m not used to back home in the middle of September. It is mostly rain or worse, snow. I decide to get up straight away, which is unusual for me. Sundays I usually lay in bed the whole morning. Must be the weather plus I’m excited to explore my new surroundings. Once I choose an outfit, I pull my hair up into a bun and shove on my boots. I reason with myself that it will be best to get breakfast when I’m out, save burning down my new kitchen. I get out the lift at reception. Eugene is on the phone again- most likely to his mum- I give him a quick wave and walk by. Maurice opens the door with a cheery, “morning, Miss Sophie, sleep well?” “I did indeed, Maurice, thank you.” I say and walk out onto the street. I stroll down the street a little and find a little cafe. I decide to go in and get something to eat before I faint. As soon as I enter the waitress rushes over to me like I am the first customer she has seen in a month. Maybe I am. Maybe the cafe is rubbish. It’s too late to turn around and leave now she has already seen me. “Hey there,” Doris says, “would you like a table?” “Yes please, Doris,” I reply. She looks totally freaked out that I know her name. I noticed it on her name badge as she was running at me like a stampede of animals when I first came in. “Oh, you know my name. Are you one of those see into the future people?” she asks. I glance down at her name tag and give her a wink. I’m starting to realise why this cafe is so empty. As I await my EGGS I look around. It really is such a nice little cafe. It’s a waste no-one is here. The grass is dancing in the slight breeze and some of the leaves on the trees are turning their Autum colour. There is wooden park benches dotted all around the park. I’m not used to nice green parks and wooden benches. The only benches I am used to seeing is red bus stop ones. I continue to walk on and see a whole different world. Woman jogging forgetting all their worries, mothers, babies and their nannies on their brisk morning walk. Business men on their cell phones walking through the park not even aware of where they are. How can they just walk by? I take a seat near the pond and watch everyone. I get excited as I see the lady from Mary Poppins. Not Julie Andrews but the little bird Lady Mary tells Jane and Michael about. I know it’s not actually her but she has the same little trolley with all the bird seed bags hanging from the side. I can’t stop myself and go over to buy one. As I throw my seeds among the grass I notice that I’m humming the tune to “Feed The Birds.” I love Mary Poppins. I love Central Park and I love New York. When all my bird seeds have gone I return to my apartment and start to get things organised for work tomorrow. I take a bath, blow dry my hair and look out some clothes. I decide on my black Dolce and Gabana trouser suit and my zebra print heels. With tomorrow sorted I go into the kitchen and try to figure out how to work the microwave. It looks like an alien spaceship to me. After twenty minutes; eight to cook my macaroni cheese and twelve to find the start button I slump down on my sofa and switch the TV on. Friends are playing and I start to feel American. At ten o’clock I call it a night and go to bed. I smile at my thoughts today and wonder what tomorrow will bring? How should I decorate my master bedroom? So, I'm trying to decorate our bedroom (on a shoe string budget). We are newlyweds with very different styles. My husband is an avid outdoors man and hunter. While I love the outdoors I don't want to live in a hunting lodge. In an effort to keep all of his hunting paraphernalia in one room I'd like to put it all in our bedroom. (keeps it out the parts of the house where guests would be) He's got several paintings, drawing and pictures of hunting scenes, two mounted deer heads, one mounted elk (it's huge) and one turkey tail. Along with some carved ducks. What I'm thinking is doing it like a 50's style lounge meets hunting lodge. Think along the lines of if Frank Sinatra had a weekend hunting lodge. I'm thinking putting all of the photos and "heads" on one wall. Maybe paint the wall a silvery pale gray or a pale blue. Either leaving the frames the mismatched woods that they are or painting them all silver or white. Painting the other walls either pale blue or maybe white. I thought I could add silver vintage elements (maybe paint some of the wood ducks silver). Maybe use chocolate brown as an accent? Any opinions or suggestions? Do you think this could look neat? Fashion tips for a guy who wants a clean cut style? Hey, well since it's the new year and all I decided to go ahead and experiment a bit with my nonexistent fashion :\ I am a huge fan of the classic Frank Sinatra style, however I realize that suits all the time aren't the best in today's fashion. Looking for good musical opinions... Who are the greatest deceased musicians? I have a vision of a great picture that I hope to soon put together, but I need some opinions. I want the picture to have deceased musicians from all genres of music. I have already thought about Michael Jackson, Elvis Presly, Notorious B.I.G., Frank Sinatra, and maybe a few more, depending on how many I want. But I want to know, who would you consider I put in, and remember that I want all genres of music, so basically the best from each genre.

Ugh, why is my mother being so ridiculous? Ok, so, my mom recently attened some Frank Sinatra tribute thing in some club in the middle of nowhere. She's 86 and I'm 53. Ok, so, apparently she's all dazzled and she thinks she's all rebel because god forbib she had a glass of wine at a Frank Sinatra concert. Like, on her Facebook page it's a picture of her with a black hat with skulls on it sticking her tounge out and the caption says "Sexy!" and her ringtone for her cell phone is "This is why I'm Hot" I mean, I guess it's nice that she feels all good because she attended some concert? Help planning formal dance with theme "Fly Me to the Moon?!"? I want the theme, which is based off of the Frank Sinatra song, to be set in the ritzy era of the Rat Pack. The area I need to come up with decoration plans for is split up into three parts. The food/social area I want to fashion after a famous '50s club (I was thinking of the Brown Derby) but I am totally stuck on what designs to incorporate in the dance area and the other social/picture area. When I think about this period, I picture how much more peaceful and "humane" this time period was... The milkman would come every morning with a friendly "howdya do?". Was it easier to become a famous actor/actress in the Old-Hollywood era? What are your opinions? I know how EXTREMELY hard it is today to become a working actor in hollywood but what about back in the Marilyn-Monroe and Frank-Sinatra days of hollywood? because today you have to have loads of experience to even get an agent when Ava Gardener got an agent simply by being in a picture in her photographer-brother-in-law's studio (or so they say) Marilyn Monroe didnt have much experience besides acting classes either..Do you think these are just bs stories and it was just as hard back then to have an acting career or do you think the competition has gotten extremely harder nowadays? What is the value of an autographed picture of Marilyn Monroe? I'm not yet sure of the date of this photo but it's older. I received this photo along with some others (Elvis, Lana Turner, Frank Sinatra, Elizabeth Taylor) in a box which contained the personal property of my recently deceased Aunt. Her husband (My Uncle-also deceased) was a prominent citizen in Las Vegas for more than 50 years and received these photos at various times throughout his time in Vegas.
