Watching a Blu ray movie on my ps3 and then coming back to same part of movie after turning it off.?

I started watching my first movie on my ps3 (it happens to be a blu ray movie). Is there a way to pause the movie, turn off the ps3 and then come back to where you were just watching the movie?? I couldn't figure it out last night. I kept pausing the movie, hitting the center button on the remote to take me to the menu and then clicking to shut off the ps3.

1. Hmm i had this with a psp i think if u press the O button and leave the disk in whilst u turn the ps3 off it works i have not yet watched film on my ps3 anyway lol but i hope that helps!
2. yeah, it should be under settings>video settings. You can find all BD (blu-ray disc) options there. Cheers!
