1. i'm not a famouse musicain, but i love music and play alot and am kinda good soo here goes. He was blind and people were amazed that he could play the way he did (it helped that he was good to) the music matches and rises and falles in a good way. his remakes are bad though, when he let people decied for him, he lost it, you should watch the movie ray, it can explain it ALOT better than i can
2. He brought the gospel feel into secular music...in fact, was often criticised for doing so.
